Oracle Retail Global Business Unit is looking for 10-20 Senior Consultants with the following titles in Beijing and Shanghai:
Senior Business Consultants,
Senior Technical Consultants,
Senior Principal Business Consultants,
Senior Principal Technical Consultant
Project managers

Anyone either from Consulting firm with Implementation experience for Retail projects, Or, Senior Staff from IT / Merchandising / Operations departments from Retail companies, is Welcome for application.

Verbal and written English is a must.

At least 3 yrs working experience.
For those over 5 or 10 yrs expereince, we have different level titles accroding to seniority.

Description Job Opening in the Oracle RGBU specializing in Merchandising and operational applications for the Retail vertical.

Description /Position Summary:

A Senior Business Consultant supports client implementations by providing critical business process skills. Business Consultants also provide extensive functional expertise across the range of Oracle Retail application solutions. Senior Consultants are required to work closely with Oracle Retail’s clients to determine how their businesses are run today and what opportunities for process improvement exist for the future. Senior Consultants use a variety of tools to translate customer needs into solution capabilities – including, but not limited to, requirements gathering, system demonstration, testing, training and process engineering. The Senior Consultant role is a highly interactive, complex role requiring a blend of strong analytical, communication, problem solving and business skills.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supports in the Conceptual/Detailed Design Sessions to review the customer’s business process definition, organization structure, KPIs and assist in determining how best to utilize Oracle Retail Solutions to meet their changing business needs. The Senior Consultant will assist in the translation of business requirements to configuration, partnering with the Application Consultant, to gather requirements and complete the Build Commencement Document. Responsible for overall business aspects of the design phases of the project.
· Functions as the Business Consultant on the project team. This team will support the development of test scripts, training, pilot and UAT phases of the implementation.
· Provides business knowledge of Oracle Retail Solutions to customers incorporating retail common practices. Assist with customer with process design as it applies to the specific configuration of MOM & RMS applications. Assist with prototype development plan, creation and execution.
· Continuously develop depth and breadth of Oracle Retail Solutions. Develop presentation and client leadership skills. Develop expertise on best practices and use/implementation of Oracle Retail Solutions.
· Build internal network of consultant contacts and begin to establish credibility as a product expert within the Services organization. Actively contribute to your practice area through identification and creation of implementation focused deliverables.
· Completes required weekly administrative tasks including, individual status report, time and expense entry.

Business Unit Specific Duties / Responsibilities:
· Understands applied business practices in merchandising and retail operational applications.
· Support in the development of future business process definition, creating flow charts take support future processes as they apply to Oracle Retail Solutions.
· Support issue resolution specific to the analytical space.
· Document Oracle Retail techniques developed to ensure the sharing key knowledge, thus contributing to the team’s intellectual capital and providing enhanced methods for delivery.





Job Requirements:
Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
· 2+ years of retail industry operational experience
· Experience in the implementation of planning or analytic solutions
· Experience with requirements definition and/or business process definition required
· Previous consulting and/or participation in medium to large-scale projects preferred
· Experience working with a large systems provider and/or integrator preferred
· Has prior consulting and/or customer service.

Other Requirements:
· Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills
· Ability to identify and proactively solve problems
· Demonstrated time management skills
· Flexible & easily adapts to change
· Ability to travel a minimum of 80%, with possible international travel required.

Brief Posting Description
Project Manage solutions using Oracle Retail Applications to solve complex technical and business issues, focusing on quality deliverables, effectively manage assigned project tasks or projects according to plan, participate in proposal development, prepare/deliver presentations, and provide guidance and coaching to consultants.
These roles are the primary touch point with Oracle Retail's customers at a project level. Exceptional communication skills coupled with proactive client centricity are essential. Enterprise Project Experience within the Retail Industry will be highly regarded.

Detailed Description
Provide engagement delivery services both as an individual and as a team member. Services include identifying needs, developing, influencing and implementing proposals. Able to lead, support and participate on project teams. Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment.

Job Requirements
l ABS or BA in related fields.
l 7-9 years overall experience in functional or technical role.
l Two years experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution.
l May have project lead role.
l Ability to communicate effectively.
l Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
l PMI or similar accreditation.
l Willing to travel regionally with some national travel.
